The human spirit needs places where nature has not been rearranged by the hand of man. This is a blog about energy...about wind energy and water energy. Energy is life. Life is natural. Life is beautiful!

What's this blog about?!
Some people might be wondering by now, what this blog is actually about?
Check out below for a description of things I hope you're learning:

The study of wind and water as sources of energy enables students to expand their understanding
of different forms of energy and how they can be used. Through exploration and experimentation,
students will actively investigate these two forms of energy. By designing their own
wind- and water-propelled devices, students will learn to identify factors that affect the motion
and control of such devices. The study of wind and moving water should also help students
better understand the concept of energy. Integrating this aspect of the course with the Earth
and Space Systems expectations for Grade 2 (“Air and Water in the Environment”) will help
students recognize the importance of air and water as two invaluable resources on earth.
Water Conservation
Check out this link. Watch it and see what the deal is with water conservation.
It's crazy...
Some say that water is a renewable resource/source of energy...
Do you agree??
Tasmania's Challenge with Wind Energy
Check this out...
Then, reflect on what Tasmania's challenge is...what is our challenge?
Why is it a challenge?
How should we address these challenges? Why?

Wind and Water
There are two things, natural and beautiful things, that provide us--people--with energy.
Wind and Water are not energy themselves...but they can help produce energy.
